Addressing hard‐to‐reach populations for achieving malaria elimination in the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network countries

Member countries of the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network are pursuing regional goal malaria elimination by 2030. The in different phases elimination, but most have demonstrated success shrinking map region. However, continued transmission hard-to-reach populations, including border and forest malaria, remains an important challenge. In this article, we review strategies for improving intervention coverage populations. Currently available preventive measures, long-lasting insecticidal nets hammocks, prompt diagnosis treatment need to be expanded This can done through mobile clinics, village volunteer workers screening posts. surveillance areas enhanced tools such as spatial decision support systems. Policy changes programs will required implementing outlined article. or may suitable some population groups difficult implement other groups.
